On April 2, 2025, the Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme (AICIS) opened a public consultation on 18 draft evaluation statements for industrial chemicals, with the submission deadline set for May 29, 2025. The consultation aims to gather stakeholder feedback on the risk assessment details—including hazard and exposure evaluations, assessment methodologies, and conclusions—as well as on risk management recommendations and proposed regulatory actions.

Each draft statement offers manufacturers and importers comprehensive insights into the identified risks and corresponding management measures.
