On July 10, 2025, two industrial chemicals were officially added to the Australian Inventory of Industrial Chemicals (AIIC) under Section 83 of the Industrial Chemicals Act 2019. Following the issuance of assessment certificates, this update aims to support the safe regulation and use of these chemicals in consumer products. 

Newly added chemicals:

The chemicals listed in the inventory have undergone thorough evaluation by the Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme (AICIS). In accordance with the Act, businesses must strictly adhere to the approved concentration limits and permitted uses to ensure safe application in products such as personal care items, household cleaners, and air fresheners.
