Four types of phthalates including DIBP, DBP, BBP and DEHP are added as restricted substances.
On June 29, 2024, China’s State Administration of Market Regulation (SAMR) officially approved the First Amendment of RoHS standard, namely GB/T 26572- 2011 Requirements of Concentration Limits for Certain Restricted Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products.

Accordingly, for compliance determination rules specified in Table 2 of Chapter 5, the Hexavalent chromium [Cr(VI)] should be detected in accordance with GB/T 39560.701.
Other amendment includes:
- Application scope as adjusted with the addition of 4 phthalates;
- Normative reference document as adjusted with the new testing standard.
The State Administration for Market Regulation (National Standardization Administration) has approved 109 national standards including “Manganese Silicon Alloy” and 4 national standard amendments
