SCIP (SUBSTANCE OF CONCERN IN PRODUCT) reporting
It is database for information on Substances of Concern In articles as such or in complex objects (Products) established under the Waste Framework Directive (WFD).
Companies supplying articles containing substances of very high concern (SVHCs) on the Candidate List in a concentration above 0.1% weight by weight (w/w) on the EU market have to submit information on these articles to ECHA, as from 5 January 2021.
We are providing services as per the below scope.
- Registration: Registration of suppliers for SCIP database.
- Part Analysis: Analysing their products for SVHC’s and its concentrations as per EU REACH regulation.
- Dossier Creation: If the parts contain SVHC’s more than 0.1% w/w weight by weight, then creating those articles in IUCLID tool and declaring all the necessary information by making it as a dossier.
- Dossier Submission : Finally submitting the dossiers to ECHA portal for evaluation. If the dossier is rejected, then work on the rejection to make necessary corrections and resubmit it again for approval.
- Report Generation: Once the dossier is approved, the approved report and report number will be sent to clients for documentation
