IUCLID Service release information

Installing a new service release that includes fixes, enhancements, and new features is now possible.

The data format has not been altered in this release, therefore it is completely compatible with the May release of the prior version. It offers a number of bug fixes, enhancements, and new features, including:

✅Enhancements in the speed of particular IUCLID operations: file exports, navigation tree loading, and dossier content extraction to a dataset, for instance. Administrators of IUCLID servers can also enable a new functionality that allows for exporting and importing data from an IUCLID drive.

✅The completion of the modifications needed to enable future Summary of Product Characteristics preparation under the EU BPR. This entails, among other things, generating the SPC report for individual products and product families, gaining access to the list of biocidal active substances from ECHA’s archive, and establishing a set of validation guidelines to ensure the accuracy of the data. We have made it possible for the report generator to produce files in the.docx format as part of this upgrade, and it is now accessible to all IUCLID users. With this structure, the IUCLID team can now begin working on creating report templates.

As of right now, users of ECHA Cloud Services will see that their IUCLID instances are automatically upgraded.

Note on patches that followed the May release:

✅Since the initial release of IUCLID 6 v7 on 27th of May, the IUCLID team has prepared and released a series of patches to address issues identified. You can find more information here.

All the fixes included in these patches are also available in the latest version of IUCLID, they do not need to be installed separately. There is one specific issue that requires further work for users who have installed v7.0.1 or v7.0.2.

✅Potentially affected users have been contacted individually, but please check the information under section 10.1.1.1 of the installation manual in case you have, at any point in time, updated your IUCLID database to v7.0.1 or v7.0.2.
