ECHA adds two hazardous chemicals to Candidate List

There are currently 235 entries for chemicals that can be harmful to persons or the environment on the Candidate List of substances of very high concern. Companies are in charge of managing the risks associated with these substances and educating customers and consumers on their safe use.

One is toxic for reproduction and the other has very persistent and very bioaccumulative hazardous properties.

They are used, for example, in inks and toners and in the production of plastic products.
